Just days after being sworn in, Ontario Town Supervisor Joe Molino abruptly resigned from his post Thursday, the Ontario Town Board confirmed.
In a letter sent to the town clerk, Molino said, “It is with much regret that I am submitting my letter of resignation from the position of Ontario Town Supervisor effective immediately.”
Molino, 79, called it “perhaps the most difficult decision of his life,” but did not provide any reason for his abrupt decision. He said, “Extenuating circumstances necessitate the decision.”
