State Police say they arrested a 31-year-old Union Springs man following a property damage accident on State Route 326 in Springport over the holiday weekend.
The incident took place on Sunday, and resulted in Michael R. Feocco, 31, being charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content greater than .08 percent, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and moving from lane unsafely.
Police say they were called to the report of a property damage accident on Route 326 and upon investigation it was determined that Feocco was under the influence of alcohol.
He was placed through a series of field sobriety tests, which he failed. He provided a breath sample of .14 percent blood-alcohol content, according to police.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
