Wayne County Sheriff Barry Virts says a Huron man was charged with driving while intoxicated after a vehicle and traffic complaint on New Years Eve.
Deputies were dispatched to Ridge Road in Huron, where a vehicle was reportedly off the road. The driver was identified as James Fellows, 76, of Huron.
Upon investigation, it was determined that Fellows was operating the vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. He was subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of .14 percent, failure to keep right, and moving from lane unsafely.
He was issued traffic citations and will answer the charges in Huron Town Court at a later date.
