State Police say a Clifton Springs woman was killed after a crash in Hopewell.
According to police, Margaret Richardson, age 89, from Clifton Springs, failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by another vehicle.
The location of the crash, where first responders remained cleaning up for some time after, was the intersection of Freshour Road and Route 488, near Canandaigua.
Richardson was killed from injuries sustained in the wreck. The driver of the second vehicle, Rodolfo Queiroz, 55, of Geneva was transported to Strong Hospital with minor injuries.
