Following three overdose emergencies overnight, officials are advising the public that a "potentially deadly batch of heroin" is circulating in the Cayuga County area.
The Auburn Police Department on Saturday posted on its Facebook page that APD and Auburn Fire Department were dispatched to two overdoses early Saturday morning. During the same time frame, police said, Cayuga County Sheriff's Office members were dispatched to a third OD incident.
"We of course are attempting to determine the source of the drugs however we would also like to remind those suffering from addiction help is available," police said.
