A fire killed two people and destroyed a mobile home at Ward Heights Trailer Park in Newfield on Wednesday.
The Tompkins County Sheriff's Office responded to the fire by Douglas Road near the intersection of Ward Heights North at 5:50 p.m., authorities said. Fire departments from Newfield, Enfield and Odessa were at the scene and so were State Fire investigators and Bangs Ambulance.
