Sheriff: Woman arrested on felony charges after stealing purse from del Lago

UPDATE: Deputies arrest Rochester woman after del Lago theft

On December 21st at about 11:30 am investigators arrested Michelle M. Richardson, 40, of Rochester on four counts of fourth-degree grand larceny after an attempt to identify request was made to the public earlier in the week.

The charges stem from an investigation where Richardson allegedly stole a purse while at del Lago Resort and Casino in the Town of Tyre.

The purse contained four credit cards, an Apple iPhone, and cash, according to deputies.

Richardson was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Tyre Town Court on January 16th, 2018 at 5 pm.


UPDATE: Attempt to ID cancelled by Sheriff’s Office

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the public, media, and del Lago Resort and Casino for their assistance in identifying a person of interest in relation to a grand larceny investigation.

The female was arrested and a press release on the arrest is forthcoming.

The Rochester Police Department and New York State Department of Corrections also assisted in the identification.


The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s help on this one.

As part of a grand larceny investigation, deputies are asking that anyone who may know or have information relative to the woman pictured below to contact them.

It’s unclear if the incident involved the del Lago Resort & Casino but the woman is photographed entering the gaming facility in Tyre.
