Pultney man arrested after drug investigation in Canandaigua

On December 4th at approximately 10:00 pm officers of the Canandaigua Police Department arrested 26-year-old Alexander Bates of Pultney, New York for criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree.

It’s alleged that Bates sold heroin while in the City of Canandaigua.



Bates was being held in the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.

Further drug sale charges are pending against Bates, and the City of Canandaigua Police Department was assisted by the Ontario County Sheriffs Department in relation to the investigation.
