Seneca County Sheriff Tim Luce says a Seneca Falls woman has been charged following a welfare fraud investigation.
Stacy M. Wilson, 47, of Seneca Falls was charged with first-degree offering a false instrument for filing, fourth-degree welfare fraud, and misuse of food stamps, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Two of the charges are Class E felonies.
Wilson allegedly failed to disclose household income when applying for public benefits with Seneca County.
She was released on appearance tickets and will answer the charges in Waterloo Village Court.
