On Saturday Troopers arrested a Syracuse woman on felony DWI charges following a traffic stop on Short Cut Road in the Town of Meridian.
Cali A. Farrance, 39, of Syracuse was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content greater than .08 percent, refusal to submit to a breath test, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection and speeding.
Farrance was stopped on Short Cut Road in the Village of Meridian for speeding.
She was placed under arrest after failing multiple standard field sobriety tests. Farrance was transported to SP Auburn after refusing the roadside breath test. She provided a breath sample of .15 percent at the station.
State Police say Farrance had two previous DWI convictions in the last 10 years, which made the latest arrest a felony charge.
Farrance was arraigned at the Town of Cato Court and remanded to the Cayuga County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond.
