On Monday the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department announced road closures and delays, which will be associated with this weekend’s ‘It’s a Wonderful Run 5K’ and ‘It’s a Wonderful Life Festival’.
Officials say there will be traffic delays and detours. Roads in the area of the race will close around 4:40 pm on Saturday and not reopen until 6:30 pm. There will be temporary ‘no parking areas’ throughout the race course and any vehicles illegally parked with be issued summons.
Areas expected to be impacted include Bridge Street, West Bayard Street, Rumsey Street, Chapel Street, State Street, Butler Avenue, Troy Street, Tyre Avenue, Cayuga Street and Fall Street.
