Police: Seneca Falls man shoved, prevented victim from calling 911 during domestic incident

Police in Seneca Falls say they arrested a 42-year-old resident following a domestic incident on Monday.

Sean M. Osterhout, 42, of Seneca Falls is accused of shoving and unlawfully restraining another person from calling for law enforcement assistance during an incident. He is also accused of restraining and preventing that person from physically being able to call for help.

Osterhout was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment and petit larceny.

He was arraigned in Tyre Town Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 secured bond.

A stay away order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim.
