A crash involving several vehicles temporarily shut down the New York State Thruway between exits 41 and 40 in the Town of Weedsport.
State Police say six cars were involved in the wreck, which happened around 3:30 pm.
Weedsport and Jordan fire departments were called to the scene, as well as AMR Ambulance. The ambulance was requested for a patient evaluation, according to those on the ground.
Traffic was only temporarily slowed due to the accident.
