Keuka Park home devastated by fire on Thanksgiving

First responders were called to 3354 James Road in Keuka Park for the report of a working structure fire during the early-afternoon hours on Thanksgiving.

Branchport-Keuka Park Fire Department was first on-scene, who requested engines from Penn Yan, a FAST Team from Benton, as well as a tanker from Potter.

At that point, crews said that the two-story home was fully-involved. It’s unclear if anyone was inside at the time of the fire.

Two additional tankers were called from Benton and Penn Yan, which resulted in Himrod and Pultney fire departments being called to cover Penn Yan and Branchport during the call. First responders say that Hall Fire Department was also called to cover for the Benton crew out at the scene.

Photos from the scene show the home completely gutted by the Thanksgiving blaze.
