The Town Board’s Monday night agenda includes adoption of the 2018 budget.
The board is set to meet at 5 p.m. in the Town Offices, 66 Virginia St.
The proposed budget includes decreases in the townwide general fund, the part-town general fund and the part-town highway fund. However, it shows an increase in the townwide highway fund.
The tax rate per $1,000 of assessed property value for those living in the village of Waterloo would drop from $2.49 to $1.96. The rate for those outside the village would drop from $1.67 to $1.25.
The board also will discuss transferring $200,000 from the community benefits fund from Seneca Meadows Landfill to the highway equipment reserve account.
