Due to a power outage, Wednesday’s scheduled men’s basketball game between St. Bonaventure and Maryland Eastern Shore was cancelled.
Power was lost in the Reilly Center around 6:15 p.m. The outage also affected several other buildings on campus. Crews responded quickly to address the problem. At approximately 8:15, power was restored but only lasted for about five minutes. It was determined by 8:45 that it would not be possible to play the game. Power was still off as of 9:30 p.m.
During the outage, the Reilly Center’s emergency lights remained on, powered by backup generators.
