A Seneca Falls man faces multiple charges after police say he was involved in a hit-and-run, and led authorities on a pursuit that ended on Kingdom Rd.
Police say Lyman C. Karalunas, 42, of Seneca Falls was involved in a hit-and-run on Washington St. in Waterloo, where a vehicle was struck — but the operator was able to provide a description of the vehicle, which included a license plate.
The vehicle was then located by Seneca Falls Police, who attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The vehicle then fled, leading police on a pursuit, which ended on Kingdom Rd.
No injuries were sustained as result of the hit-and-run crash, but Karalunas was charged with two speeding violations, failure to keep right, uninspected motor vehicle, unlawfully fleeing a police officer, and driving while intoxicated.
Waterloo Police charged him with leaving the scene of a property damage accident and a speed violation.
He was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court where he was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bail.
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the incident, which took place on November 10th.
