Reports indicate that a 40-year-old woman, who exited a moving vehicle, has died from injuries sustained during the incident at Strong.
Deputies say 40-year-old Christy Switzer, of Marion was headed north on State Rt. 21 when she exited the vehicle.
According to deputies, the vehicle was still in motion — and as result had to be airlifted by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of her injuries where she later passed away.
The details of the incident remain unclear and under investigation, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
