“Keuka Holidays” wine trail gets residents into the holiday spirit

Local residents were able to get a jump start at ringing in the holiday season with the annual “Keuka Holidays” wine trail.

The tour was hosted at Heron Hill Winery and sponsored by the Keuka Lake Wine Trail.

Ticket holders were able to travel to seven different wineries, collecting ornaments and trying out different wines.

When visitors started the trail, each was given their own wine glass and handmade wreath.

Each year the tour sells out and gives locals a chance to get into the holiday spirit.

“The wine trails are a good camaraderie,” said Heron Hill tasting hall manager, Tambi Schweizer.

“We get to talk to a lot of great people. Everyone is in a good mood because, guess what? They’re drinking wine!”

The “Keuka Holidays” wine trail is offered for two weekends and is sold out for this year.
