The Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that it will host its 2018 Annual Dinner Banquet on Thursday, January 25th, 2018. The event will be held at Club 86 in Geneva. The announcement follows the result of a recent Host Location RFP that was sent to Chamber Members and coordinated by the Chamber’s Membership and Ambassador Committee. Club 86 submitted the winning proposal.
“We were pleased to see the interest that this process generated, and wish to thank the many members who responded,” stated Abby Wandell, Membership Programs and Events Coordinator for the Chamber.
As the first of three major events organized by the Chamber, the Annual Dinner offers the opportunity for reflection on the previous year’s programs and activities. The event is a staple fundraiser for the Chamber, and allows for the continuation of building and expanding upon the programs and services that are offered to member businesses.
“We are excited to welcome our members and partners back to Club 86 for the 2018 Annual Dinner, and encourage both our new and long-time members to join us- or better yet, get involved in the planning of this annual festivity,” stated Polly Clark, Chairwoman for the Chamber’s Membership and Ambassador Committee, who assists with the event’s coordination and fundraising logistics. Polly Clark of Generations Bank in Geneva, has been active with the Chamber’s programs and events for several years.
The 2018 event will once again include the popular #ShopLocal! Silent Auction and the #LoveLocal Live Auction, which encourages and supports the Chamber’s Buy Local, Shop Local efforts to promote the many products, services and industries that make up the Chamber’s member businesses.
Reservations for the 2018 Annual Dinner must be made in advance. Early bird member tickets will be available for $70 per person, but must be purchased by Friday, December 15. Please note that space is limited, and prices will increase after the deadline.
