First responders say they were called to the scene of a dump truck fire in Cayuga County during the afternoon hours on Saturday.
Poplar Ridge Fire Department and Scipio Engine 1 were called to the area of State Rt. 34 and Kings Corners Rd. For a dump truck fire.
First crews on scene confirmed that a dump truck was on fire, but within moments of arriving — those crews had the fire out.
An investigation was launched into the incident and more information will be provided later by law enforcement.
