The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Wednesday around 10:55 am deputies responded to the area of School Rd. Near New Seabury Lane for a one-car accident.

Through an investigation it was determined that James Woodard, 69, of Victor was traveling north on School St. when he suffered a medical emergency.

According to police, his vehicle then crossed over the center line and went off the west shoulder of the road. His vehicle struck a ditch and tree before coming to rest.

He was transported to Thompson Hospital by Victor Farmington Ambulance, according to deputies for treatment of a laceration under his eye.
