Town-wide leaf, brush and rubbish pick-ups set in Seneca Falls

There will be a Townwide pickup for LEAVES and BRUSH ONLY the week of November 6, 2017.

Leaves and Brush must be at roadside Sunday, November 5th. There will only be one pass per street starting Monday. NO RETURN TRIPS WILL BE MADE. Only one truckload per household.

LEAVES must be in PAPER BAGS. They will not be picked up in plastic bags or piles along the street. BRUSH should be placed in small piles for easy pickup, not one large pile please. No branches longer than 8 feet in length, 12 inches in diameter and placed parallel to the road.

The Town has paper leaf bags for sale at the Highway Department. (187 Ovid Street) at a cost of $2.00 for five bags.

If you miss the pickup, you can always drop your items off at our Drop-Off Area at 187 Ovid Street. Place your items in their assigned areas. PLEASE NO PLASTIC BAGS.

There are rules in place at the Drop-Off Area which are on the Town’s Website.

Bulky rubbish pickup will follow the week of November 13th. Please do not mix brush and leaves with bulky rubbish as it will not be picked up.7.

Construction debris
Furniture
Household Items
White goods
Mattresses
Small amounts of concrete

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WILL NOT BE PICKED UP:
TIRES
BATTERIES
TELEVISIONS
COMPUTERS AND MONITORS
PAINTS AND UNKNOWN LIQUIDS
ELECTRONICS OF ANY KIND
ANY OTHER KIND OF HAZARDOUS MATERIAL

These are considered Hazardous Waste and cannot be picked up.
