The Penn Yan Fire Department reports that a 48-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash that happened on Tuesday night.
Charles McKay, 48, of Penn Yan was traveling north on Rt. 14A when he lost control of his bike and struck a guide rail at the intersection of Clark Rd., according to fire officials.
They say McKay was airlifted by Mercy Flight to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. While details on his injuries were not clear, they were classified as serious, and included internal and head injuries.
