Written public comment can be made until Oct. 26 on Robert Harner’s application for a freshwater wetlands permit to build a garage at 2123 Pumphouse Road.
Harner proposes to build a new, 32-by-36-foot detached garage of 1,152 square feet which would be constructed entirely within the 100-foot adjacent area of a state freshwater Class 1 wetland, requiring the permit.
The area is now maintained as a lawn, and two trees would be cut down for the garage to be built.
Application documents are available for inspection during normal business hours at the state Department of Environmental Conservation Region 8 office, 6274 East Avon-Lima Road, Avon.
