On Wednesday at 11:00 am the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Jessica A. Smith, 34, of Geneva following a shoplifting complaint in July 2017.
Police were called to the Wal-Mart Supercenter after they observed Smith stealing merchandise.
Police say Smith fled the scene prior to the police department arriving. A warrant was requested and issued by the Town of Seneca Falls Court.
As a result of the warrant, Jessica was arrested and charged with one count of petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
She was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court where she was remanded to jail. Jessica will remain there in lieu of $500 bail.
She is scheduled to reappear in town court on November 8th, 2017, at 10:00 am.
