The Windmill Farm & Craft Market is hosting its first ever Chili Cook Off Saturday October 21. Cooking begins at 8 am with judging taking place at 12 pm.
Cash Prizes will be awarded for Best Overall, Best Tasting and Most Unusual.
The contestants must be registered by calling the Windmill office at 315-536-3032 prior to the contest.
Taking place under the big pavilion rain or shine, generated power will be provided by Finger Lakes Power Company and tables set up for preparation. “Nothing is too unusual, says General Manager Steve Wilson, but it must be chili.”
The Windmill, the regions premier farm and craft market continues its tradition of fun activities at its location on SR 14A just south of Penn Yan.
A new Straw Maze was just erected for k-4th grade with a special treat for everyone who doesn’t get lost! Face painting, pumpkin painting and entertainment will fill the day with excitement and activity.
