The Lyons Central School District announced their student-athletes of the month for October this week.
The Senior Athlete for the month of October is Kaitlyn DeCola. Kaitlyn went undefeated in league play at 2nd singles and is 2nd in her class. She will be representing her team at individual sectionals as a doubles team with Kelsey Arliss.
The Junior Athlete for the month of October is Alexis West. Alexis is involved with Varsity Club and Leadership Club and keeping everyone up with all home coming prep. She is the lead in the fall play as well performing for the Wayne County Historical Society in the production “A Tea out of time”. She also spends many hours volunteering with the Jr. Lions Cheer while maintaining a 90+ average and has been working her tail of the entire month.
