Police: Auburn man in crash had BAC over 4 times legal limit, was taken to hospital

An Auburn man in a crash Saturday morning was taken to medical treatment for a blood alcohol content level over four times the legal limit, the Auburn Police Department said.

Timothy Sliney, 37, 9 Venice St., was charged at 3 a.m. with aggravated driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated.

The APD said Sliney hit some bridge guard rails with on North Division Street. He was found to have a blood alcohol content of 0.35. Though Sliney was not injured in the accident, police said that he was taken to Auburn Community Hospital because of his intoxication.
