Three Seneca County agencies vote on 2018 budgets

Three Seneca County economic development agencies may adopt their 2018 budgets when they meet Thursday.

The Industrial Development Agency will meet at noon to consider approval of next year’s budget and posting it on the Public Authorities Reporting Information System. The budget, which will rise from $481,110 in 2017 to $523,407, must be posted by Nov. 1.

The Economic Development Corp., which oversees uses of the former Seneca Army Depot property that is owned by the IDA, will meet after the IDA. Its budget would rise from $123,230 to $128,201.

The IDA and EDC boards will review their long-term forecasts, also.
