The Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition of Ontario County, an initiative of the Partnership for Ontario County, is partnering with the Finger Lakes Community College Chemical Dependency Department to host a forum on Medically Assisted Treatment Programs within our community.
As drug overdose deaths rise throughout the region, we invite you to learn more about treatment options and more specifically about medically assisted treatment options from the region.
Dr. Rodic from the Finger Lakes Counseling & Recovery Agency (FLACRA) will be presenting on “What is medically assisted treatment and addiction.” The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion involving community partners from FLACRA, Community Support Center, Trillium and others. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions. Coalition members and resources will be available during and after the program for attendees to learn more about our efforts to prevent the drug epidemic in our region.
This forum will be held on Tuesday, October 17th from 2pm – 4pm at FLCC in room 2775. For more information, please contact Petrea Rae, Coalition Coordinator at [email protected] or Mary Murphy, professor at [email protected].
Coalition members and resources will be available to assist community members after the program.
