Seneca Falls man pushed, entrapped victim during domestic

On Monday the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested a 33-year-old resident after a call for a “family problem.”

Police say Jonathan W. Wellington, 33, of Seneca Falls reportedly pushed a local resident to the ground and held them there preventing a call to 911 — or from them leaving the site.

The disturbance took place in the presence of a child, which resulted in an endangering the welfare of a child charge. In addition, Wellington was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, second-degree harassment, and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

All of the charges will be answered in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
