Cayuga Onondaga BOCES was placed on lockdown Tuesday afternoon while Cayuga County sheriff's deputies dealt with an incident involving a student, a release said.
According to an "important message" on BOCES' website, the facility was locked down for less than 20 minutes Tuesday while authorities resolved an incident with a student.
"The lockdown was an abundance of caution and at no time were any students or staff in danger," the message said. "We thank our students for their orderly behavior, our staff who responded effectively in accordance with their training and law enforcement for bringing quick resolution to the incident."
