A Sodus woman now faces assault charges after deputies say she used her vehicle to strike an individual she was arguing with.
The dramatic events took place on Tuesday around 9:36 am in the Village of Sodus. According to deputies, Hayley A. Chappell, 24, of Sodus was charged with second-degree assault after an argument escalated.
Deputies say Chappell, who was in her vehicle, put the car in drive and struck the victim — pinning her against a porch.
She was arraigned and will answer the charges at a later date in Sodus Town Court.
