City Council will take another look Wednesday at its recently updated waste-hauler regulations that resulted in higher fees for some residents.
A work session will be held at 6 p.m. at the Public Safety Building, 255 Exchange St.
The updated regulations, the first in 20 years, were approved in a 5-4 Council vote in June.
Among the highlights, the license to haul trash in the city was raised from $200 to $1,000, with the number of haulers set at four. In addition, haulers get just a single day to pick up trash for residents, although their collection times were increased (6 a.m. to 6 p.m.) to allow more pickups.
