Seneca Falls Supervisor spars with speaker

Supervisor Greg Lazzaro is “very angry” over comments made by a former town resident at Tuesday’s Town Board meeting.

Lazzaro said the Rev. Allison Stokes of Rochester, formerly of Seneca Falls, was “completely wrong” in her comments about two recent, separate events that involved a town resident, two Town Board members and police charges.

Stokes said she wanted to present a timeline of events over the past year, calling them “a listing of facts,” and her conclusions about those facts.

She began by citing the May 5 alleged physical contact by Town Board member Thomas Ruzicka with fellow board member David DeLelys after a board meeting at a downtown restaurant. That led to a charge of second-degree harassment, a violation, being filed against Ruzicka. The matter is still pending in Waterloo Town Court.
