Police: Seneca Falls man faces felony charges after domestic incident

On Wednesday at approximately 7:28 pm Seneca Falls Police arrested a 41-year-old resident following an investigation into a domestic incident.

Police charged Joseph P. Camacho, 41, of Seneca Falls with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felony aggravated family offense, criminal obstruction of breathing, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree harassment.

Camacho is accused of being involved in a physical domestic incident with a female, who was prevented from calling 911.

During the investigation, several weapons were seized from the residence, according to police.



Camacho was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 secured bond.

He will appear in Town Court on September 11th for a felony hearing. An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim, according to officials.
