Perfect weather Wednesday before big cool down Thursday, Friday

Wednesday will be a gorgeous day in the Finger Lakes.

Sunshine, mild temperatures, and very little wind — will mean that those looking to get outside — and enjoy it — will have perfect conditions to do so.

Change is on the horizon, according to forecasters. It won’t be a long-term change, but right now — FLX Weather Meteorologist Drew Montreuil says a big two-day chill is coming that will cool things off to late-fall territory.

After highs in the mid-70s on Wednesday, temperatures will struggle to get above 60 on Thursday and Friday.

Overnight lows both of those days will also get near record-breaking territory. Some scattered upper-30s could be seen, in more rural areas.

The holiday weekend looks ideal, with temperatures moderating significantly after Thursday and Friday’s late-week chill.
