An Auburn man was arrested Friday for stealing from a man at a city convenience store/gas station, according to a press release from the Auburn Police Department.
Zackeriah L. Thurston, 29, 7 John St. Apt. 1, was charged with third-degree robbery, a class D felony.
Dispatchers received calls about a fight between two men at the Speedway, 70 North St., Auburn, around 1 a.m. Police said Thurston was arrested after police viewed store surveillance footage and conducted follow-up interviews to determine that the robbery took place. The victim’s belongings were later found in an undisclosed location in town.
