It’s not very often members of the Wayne County Board of Supervisors take digs at each. At least not at meetings.
After all, Republicans hold a 14-1 advantage on the board. Any disagreements the members have are generally hashed out at committee meetings or political caucuses.
But as Ontario Town Supervisor John Smith has said, they’re not going to always agree on everything.
On Monday, at the board’s seventh annual meeting at the Wayne County Fair, they didn’t.
And it came down to 30 cents.
That’s the price of a surcharge the county is now allowed to charge those who purchase cell phone minutes outside the traditional monthly plans.
