Quiet midweek weather for the Finger Lakes

A new area of high pressure will build into the Finger Lakes on Wednesday, resulting in another couple days of sunny, dry weather.

First, though, fog and some low clouds are in place early this morning in the wake of yesterday’s storm system and rain.

Some of the fog may be locally dense this morning, so be on the lookout for reduced visibilities.

Dry air should work in throughout the morning, eroding away the clouds and fog. Partly cloudy skies should develop during the mid and late morning hours.

The afternoon should be sunny with some fair weather clouds. No precipitation is expected.

Temperatures will top out a few degrees below normal, with most places in the mid 70s.

Thursday will be sunny throughout the day with some areas of morning fog. Temperatures will be warmer, with highs reaching the low 80s.
