The Geneva City Golf Championship tournament is down to the final two participants and will feature a match-up between teacher and student.
After a qualifying round to produce the 16-man field, and 3 rounds of match play at Big Oak GC and Geneva Country Club, the final match will be between Joey Maher and Bill McDermott. Mayer is a freshman at Geneva High School and is a member of the Panthers Varsity Golf Team of which McDermott, a former Geneva City Championship winner, is the coach.
The final match is set for Sunday at 1:00 pm at Geneva Country Club.
