The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports that a Macedon woman was arrested after she set off a homemade explosive device.
Christina Greene was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon, after deputies were called to Meadowview Trailer Park for the report of a noise disturbance.
Upon arrival Greene was found to have built an explosive device using a plastic soda bottle.
Court documents indicate that Greene created the bomb with toilet bowl cleaner and aluminum foil.
Greene reportedly told responding deputies, “I’m the one that made them,” adding “I watched on youtube how to make them.”
Altogether, court documents indicate that three were produced, but only two of them successfully went off. She was remanded to the Wayne County Jail on $2,500 cash bail.
The Monroe County Bomb Squad was called to the scene to dispose of the third bottle bomb.
