New York State Police announced today that the driver who struck Trooper Craig Foglia has been issued several traffic tickets in relation to that incident.
Trooper Foglia was struck during a traffic stop on May 17 of this year off of I-86 West in the Town of Campbell.
Foglia was released from the hospital back in July.
The driver, 78 year old, Kenneth Aukett, of Westmont, NJ was issued tickets by for misdemeanor charged of Reckless Driving, and violations of Fail to Move Over and yield to an emergency vehicle, failure to reduce speed, and driving across hazard markings on the roadway.
