‘American Pickers’ returning to New York, seeking Cayuga County leads

The “American Pickers” team is planning to film in New York in September, and hopes to have somewhere to stop in the Cayuga County area.

Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz’s History series follows them as they scour America for valuable antiques — and the stories behind them.

The team only picks private collections — stores, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions and anything else open to the public will not be considered.

The series airs at 9 p.m. Mondays on History.
