The remainder of the week, including the weekend — shows an improving forecast, according to the National Weather Service and Finger Lakes Weather.
Both forecasters agree that while there’s a risk for some showers or thunderstorms on Friday, Saturday and Sunday — a large portion of those days will be spent dry, and without rain.
Outdoor plans should be just fine.
FLX Weather Meteorologist Drew Montreuil notes that an approaching storm system will have an impact on the weather over the weekend — but there’s a good chance that a number of locations throughout the Finger Lakes see little, or no precipitation at all.
Thursday will be warm, and summer-like with temperatures in the low-80s.
