Deputies in Ontario County arrested a 43year-old Rochester man after he was found to be driving while impaired by drugs, with a child less-than 15-years-old inside the vehicle.
The traffic stop happened in Farmington on State Route 96, after deputies say Jesse L. Ellis, 43, of Rochester was observed operating a vehicle without tail lights and having an inadequate muffler.
It was later determined that Ellis was driving while ability impaired by drugs. Due to the fact that there was a child passenger, the driving while ability impaired charge was upgraded to an aggravated driving while intoxicated.
Ellis will answer the charges in Farmington Town Court.
