A Geneva man is facing a second round of charges related to aggravated unlicensed operation — after he responded to a court date in Seneca Falls.
Police say Archie J. McCoy, 58, of Geneva was previously arrested for violations of the vehicle and traffic law on July 22nd and was attending court at the Seneca Falls Municipal Building when he was arrested again on identical charges.
McCoy was originally charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator, operating without insurance and operating a motor vehicle while it’s registration is suspended and/or revoked.
Police say McCoy drove himself to court, and the vehicle he was operating — a van — had a suspended registration, and switched license plates.
As result, McCoy was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator, operating without insurance, and operating a motor vehicle while it’s registration was suspended.
He was released on tickets and will have to answer the charges again on August 21st.
