On Friday at approximately 8:15 pm a Clifton Springs man was arrested following a one-vehicle crash at the corner of Melvin Hil Rd. and Ontario St., according to deputies.
The Phelps Police Department, Phelps Ambulance, and Ontario County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the scene, and after a brief investigation – Joshua Matthew Perry, 29, of Clifton Springs was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.
A passenger, identified as Kelly Burleigh was transported to Clifton Springs Hospital by Phelps Ambulance for lacerations to her hand and the complaint of head pain.
Perry was also cited for unsafe speed and failure to stop at a stop sign.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
