Deputies arrested a Lyons man, who now faces multiple charges, after an incident earlier this week involving himself, his girlfriend and a bystander.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Dylan Felix, 19, of Lyons was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend while at Abbey Park in Lyons. During the altercation, Felix damaged her car, stole her keys and choked her to a point where she had difficulty breathing.
During the struggle, the female yelled for someone to call 911.
That’s when deputies say an unidentified man called 911, and was attacked by Felix. He was struck in the face, had his phone stolen — and thrown a distance away — preventing the bystander from completing the 911 call.
Felix was charged with second-degree robbery, fourth-degree grand larceny, two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief, one count of third-degree criminal mischief, criminal obstruction of breathing, petit larceny, third-degree assault, and second-degree harassment.
Felix was arraigned in the Town of Lyons Court and was remanded to jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court on August 7th.
